  2. Which sound Is worse?

    1) Anderson and Bryan sniffing into the Mic.

    2) DAG chewing gum into the Mic when he was on loveline.

  8. Good luck on finding this movie since the company went under but “Thursday” should be on this list.

Aaron Eckhart – Before anyone cared.
Mickey Rourke – Before his come back.

  9. Seriously fellas. Stop with the fucking sniffing. And, for a radio/podcast vet like Anderson, he has SO MANY annoying habits. Even the cadence of his speech sometimes makes me want to kill babies.

  10. COME ON BRYAN!!! Have you even seen Shortcuts!?! The fishing trip alone takes THREE DAYS!!! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!?!

    Love the show 😀

  11. Logan, just wanted to bring it to your attention that whenever you chime in there’s a faint buzzing sound that accompanies you (that I assume comes from your pressing of the button that activates your mic). Maybe you could speak to Anderson and figure out a way to eliminate it?

P.S. Big fan of the show!

  12. Damn, I hope Anderson’s dog Stanley ejaculates in his mouth after having passed out on his daily dose of estrogen and nyquil …I cannot imagine that pussy can sleep otherwise…. with all his self loathing

  13. i am so sick of A-hole (Anderson “C” Clarke?..yeah right…cockswallower more like it) being wrong so often on his facts….please do a post correction segment like they do on ESPN PTI where they put the facts into the podcast of what they got wrong….years, directors, actors etc. if they are so into films, do they not want to get their shit right?

Posted by phil landers | November 20, 2011, 7:03 AM
  14. How about Hitchcocks “Rope”. The whole film is basically one continous shot….

Also, if you want a good old comedy, I recommend “The aweful truth” with Carey Grant and Irene Dunne. I like it better than “his girl friday”….

  15. Hey guys, APROPOS to nothing but since you guys have the new show and were thinking about re-doing episodes, I would recommend the Top 5 Superhero / graphic novel movies.

I remember when I first listened to that episode I was SO PUMPED. And I don’t wanna sound like a dick, but that was probably the most annoying episode I had ever listened to. I know it’s a free podcast and everything, but I was quite honestly rather disappointed.

There have been new superhero flicks since then, and the last episode was less than stellar (to put it politely), so let’s do another Top 5 Superhero Movies!

Regardless of my bitching, I enjoy the show! Keep up the good work!

    The Warriors
    Die Hard (Streaming 1, 2, and 3)
    Arsenic and Old Lace (Streaming)
    Ferris Buellers day off
    12 Angry Men

Run Lola Run, but I wasnt sure if this counted

  18. Anderson really needs to watch Reservoir Dogs again. I’d say nearly 1/3 or more of the movie are flashbacks to before the job takes place.

Great movie. One of my all-time favorites, but it really shouldn’t be in this category.

Not nearly as bad as The Ususal Suspects as a Revenge Film….not even close Bryan.

  19. I don’t remember the Hangover being very funny, and Bridesmaids was so slow and not at all funny. The old Carey Grant comedies are great, though, and Bringing up Baby doesn’t have Mike Tyson, but it does have a leopard. Pretty much all of Carey Grant’s comedies are good, especially when they have Katherine Hepburn and/or Jimmy Stewart too, like the Philadelphia Story.

  20. Does Dog Day Afternoon fit?

    Posted by Howard | November 18, 2011, 12:30 PM
  21. So stoked to listen to this episode. Great category.

  22. What the Fuck! No “Jack and Jill” flixfess?

Posted by Scott in NC | November 18, 2011, 11:43 AM
  23. Is Bryan thinking of The Departed when he talks about Tim Roth at the police academy?

    Posted by EmJayPee | November 18, 2011, 11:08 AM
  24. I think Memento happens in a day. The actual action goes on in a day, it’s the flashbacks that occur on different days.

    Posted by Vaughan | November 18, 2011, 10:43 AM
  25. Three O’Clock High is a must for this list

Posted by Joe Warnimont | November 18, 2011, 6:25 AM
  26. Here’s your Netflix Instant list, Logan, fired again!

    The Pride Of The Yankees
Joan Rivers: A Piece Of Work
    Troll 2
    Killer Klowns From Outerspace
    Battlefield Earth
    Reservoir Dogs
The Taking Of Pelham One Two Three
    Die Hard
    Dazed And Confused

  27. The final “sneeze” scene in The Taking of Pelham 123 must take place on a different day…

    Posted by Meatman | November 18, 2011, 4:16 AM
    • They are canvassing subjects the night of the heist — it fits.

Unlike fucking Short Cuts — seriously Bryan? You’re breaking balls about Reservoir Dogs and Short Cuts could be spread out over a week — there are at least 3-4 overnight scenes.

Tim Robbins spends the night with his wife once and his back up chick once.
The camping scene is at least two days and then the love scene after is a 3rd, and the next day they have the dinner party.
The dad from The OC spends one night flying his helicopter, ditches the kid for a second night and spends a third night in his exes house tearing shit up.
There are 2-3 evenings depicted at the jazz club.
Jennifer Jason Leigh is having evening phone sex at least 3x.
