Click here for a list of the films discussed in this episode.
Hud, Hustler, Hondo, Cool Hand Luke, and the Big Lebowski. You guys never mention any films before 1970. It is as if there weren’t any good films made.

Not Hondo, I meant Hombre. A great film.

Love Hombre, good call.

Mr and Mrs Smith is an awful, predictable, cliche ridden movie. With all the possible choices how did that make a top 5?

Also, Tyler did a good job.

Can’t wait for the “Top 5 Movies Made In 90’s That Are Set In The 90’s By Directors Who Were Born In The 70’s And Were Convicted Of Bestiality” episode that is surely to come in the next few weeks. Seriously, this was a list you two wanted to do?
Also, not enough cannon.

Since when is Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World a hipster movie? It’s directed towards video game/comic book geeks. Just because you’re not into something, or don’t like it doesn’t make it automatically a “hipster” movie.
As for your choices…Amelie and Beetlejuice were some good picks.

Total hipster flick, not that good either and I’m a comic dork

Just a bad uninspired episode this week. Anderson just mailed it in.
But Anderson was able crowbar in an After Disaster plug. Surprised Fart Barf didn’t get a mention too this week.

Tyler, outstanding job behind the board. All the levels were perfectly. Now that we know you can do it, why do you continue to mix the After Disaster in such an unlistenable way?.

I’m not going to make a list for this show. But you know what?
(SNIIIIFFFFFFFFFFFF)
Lawrence of Arabia and Citizen Kane would rank high on such a list if I made it.
Beetlejuice was a good choice. Also, you guys started the show by talking about Michael Clayton, which for whatever reason, is the first movie that came to my mind when I read this episode’s title. It’s great.
Anderson on the last show: “I’m poor.”
Anderson on this show (paraphrasing ((sniff))): “I’M MOVIN’ OUT OF MY HUGE APARTMENT ON THE COAST WHERE I COULDN’T EVEN FIND THINGS AS I WAS MOVING OUT ‘CAUSE IT’S SO HUGE, AND I’M MOVIN’ INTO MY HUGE HOUSE WITH A POOL ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF L.A. KISS MAH ASS.”
(….paraphrasing)
Hmm…

If I could star this post I would, dead on. Except for Michael Clayton…snoozefest

Done with the Film Vault. I love the show, but Bryan’s indifference to spoiling movies makes it not worth listening to.
