FM Pilots

Official Website

FM Pilots is an Oklahoma rock/pop band that boasts catchy, polished tunes with heartfelt sentiment. The lineup consists of long-time friends Nick Whitaker, Josh Davidson, Josh Kephart, and Casey Meyering. “We’re all chasing dreams…chasing lives from movie scenes.” In the opening of their Debut EP, the band relates that we’re all in pursuit of our ambitions. This group of friends has an intense love for creating music…and music is where their ambitions thrive. “One of the city’s most promising young pop rock bands”- G.K. Hizer, Urban Tulsa Weekly.

Formed summer 2010, the bands immediate chemistry allowed them to successfully break their Self-Titled EP in the fall, which was quickly embraced by local radio and even gained national exposure via digital radio services such as Pandora Radio. Hard work, a strong-growing following and an increasing buzz has landed them spots on Vans Warped Tour, Tulsa International Mayfest, and showcases during SXSW. Locally, FM Pilots has gained attention from KMYZ (104.5 FM), KMOD (97.5 FM), CW 12/19, KOTV 6, KWTV 9, Urban Tulsa Weekly and were also promoted heavily by Tulsa’s rock station, Z104.5 The Edge, on their 2010 Homegroan CD. You can find FM Pilots at all major digital retailers such as iTunes, Amazon and Rhapsody, or grab physical CD’s from their official website (http://fmpilots.net).

Currently, while gigging regionally and promoting their Self-Titled EP, FM Pilots is writing and recording songs for their upcoming album set to be released sometime in 2011. Keep checking in online for news, upcoming shows, studio footage and new demos as this band continues to progress.
