  1. Moulin Rouge is the worst cluster-F, abortion of an horrendous, POS movie of all time.
Conair is a GREAT movie! Classic Cage!!! Kindergarten Cop IS a great movie.
The thong song didn’t come out till after I moved to Seattle, so that’d be 1998.
I could not sit thru 300, and I’d love to see all the hot guys, but the look was hard to watch too.

  2. Guys, don’t change a thing. Starting to see too many ‘critics’ posting here. Fuck-em!

“Eddie….come here…I want you hear something real good”
    “…..Your mother’s CUNT STINKS!…like carpet cleaner!”

  3. Wow. People really hate Anderson, huh? I understand. He is a monumental douchebag (Who admits to wanting to be something so worthless and trendy as a ‘hipster’?) but he’s a major part of the show.

At first, I couldn’t stand him either, and despite how often he’s just plain wrong about stuff, many times he’s dead on. And there’s no arguing that he’s better at recommending films than Bryan. Especially when it comes to stuff serious film fans appreciate over whatever box office poison is currently dominating your local multiplex.

The Film Vault is Bryan AND Anderson. As much as that may suck.

  4. Guys, some constructive criticism, as I had stated the last time you had a guest on, it is so rude that you guys constantly interrupt the guest. It is bad enough when you do it to each other, but you talk a million miles an hour and constantly interrupt the guest. Even when you ask him a question, you don’t let him finish his answer. I am sure you both get this from working with Adam where you have to interrupt to get your idea out, and I am glad that you are at least not interrupting him with a long tangent (as Adam often does), but please be aware of this because it is distracting and rude. Otherwise, love the show!

    • Your criticism is one of the many things that hold this show back from being a barely listenable podcast instead of a truly great one. All of the problems with the show mainly have to do with Anderson. Bryan really should dump Anderson and find someone else or just use rotating guest hosts. Anderson is constantly acting like an obnoxious asshole, something most males shake off by their 2nd year in college.

Aside from that, this annoying dipshit has a horrible delivery and is always affecting his voice. Whisper, yell, growl, change pitch, speed up, insult Bryan, repeat. His whole delivery is really annoying. Imagine Robin Williams without the career and hosting a podcast with some hipster style douchbaggery mixed in.

  5. It was the change in room reverb and Bryan’s voice that first gave away the splice in this week’s episode (at listener’s top 5). You made it tougher to believe by doing it on a guest show. Crazy, too, to hear Bryan, Anderson and Logan filling every moment with dialogue. Props for working to create a seamless flow, keep on trying to sch(f)ool us!

  6. Mine: “Virus” (1999)

“Back to School” (1986) probably doesn’t qualify, but when I admit that it’s my favorite comedy ever it probably does.

    • Oh, I forgot “Fantastic Four,” (2005) which I never understood the hate for– except for Alba trying to pose as a blonde and saying embarrassing things to justify it. I think she even said that some of her relatives are white and she considers herself more white than hispanic (cringe).

“300” is a solid choice, Bryan.

  8. This episode has made me finally decide to go back through the archive & listen to some classic episodes. So much fun when you guys have a guest.
Outside of his #3, my list was the same as Bryan’s. I am Bryan and I am scared.

  9. While sitting at my desk listening to TVF this morning, I actually stood up and clapped when Anderson said Selena was his number 5 guilty pleasure. I could not agree more with this pick. I cannot explain why but I just cannot NOT watch this movie every time it’s on tv.
