  1. Anderson’s egregious error of the week: Anderson, it’s pronounced Eee-lee-zee-um.

  2. Welcome to Bryan’s and Anderson’s America

I just want to tell that asshole who criticized the film vault on every level to go screw yourself. I have been known to post a few criticisms and complaints myself, but I love Bryan and Anderson, warts and all. Sure they are flawed, but they are honest and genuine in their approach to their podcast. Bryan with his brain tumor and Anderson with his 800 pound chip on his shoulder, makes me love to listen to them even more. I have often complained how they never select any films before 1980, but let me tell you, I was living in the past and they have introduced me to hundreds of contemporary films I would have never know about. I think I watched every film on their list of disturbing documentaries, and I was fascinated by every single one. Thank you guys for entertaining me every week. Don’t change a thing because one angry asshole doesn’t like your podcast. I’m one angry asshole who loves your podcast.

By the way…I just saw the best film of 2012, it was On The Road. That film has slipped under the radar but what a great cast. Garrett Hedlund is the next Brad Pitt. What a performance. Also a memorable cameo by Steve Buscemi. This film was ignored by the critics, but if you love the book and the true story of Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady, you will love this film. The well written script combines both stories. It is not on Fuckflixs yet, I saw it on “On Demand” on Comcast. I highly recommend this movie!!!

  3. I get Bryans’ compulsion for spoiling – he must inform the audience and Anderson, as well as Logan, of his pop culture knowledge, film knowledge, name recognition, etc. To the guy who critiqued the podcast: I had a guy listen to it who had no interest in listening, nor giving it a chance, and since then has watched a few movies mentioned by Bryan and Anderson – that’s what it’s about O critic-with-little-insight.

  8. Bryan, I totally sympathize with you having to get chemo, but you said it last time that when you had it that same day you were all wound up and “shot out of a cannon” as you put it. You were totally that way again. You talk crazy fast and don’t hardly stop to take a breath. I just wish you wouldn’t do a show the same day, but I guess you have to do it when you can. Good luck to you.

  9. The Warriors is damn near unwatchably terrible. Very homoerotic as well, so I think people that enjoy this might have some latent homosexuality.

  11. I don’t mean any disrespect Bryan. I just love that kind of movie. If I came off as a prick I apologize. I also loved West Sise Story. Not ashamed to admit that.

  12. The Warriors is one of the cheesiest over rated movies ever. And frankly I think West Side Story (also cheesy) was better, despite being a musical.

Bryan, when you tweeted that Bill’s blog, he made me think of those hipsters Anderson was afraid to run into at the Kubrick museum. Then when I saw the Obama’s America guy comment I nearly peed myself with laughter. Then when I saw Bill actually respond to it with his idiotic response, I laughed even harder.

  13. Ever noticed Bryan rarely mentions he was in a fraternity? Most aging ex-fratboys constantly inject the glory days of their past Greek life. What gives Bald? Share some more beer guzzling anecdotes with your bought college friends.

By the way, in all honesty the beard looks good on Bryan. He reminds me of a disheveled Billy Zane, but balder.

As for Anderson…. I want to dislike him, but he introduced me to Werner so I’ll forever be indebted to him….just wish he’d either stop his hipster tendencies or go full-blown hipster douche with an old timey mustache, pocketwatch and warm weather scarf. This gray area between both worlds he chooses to live doesn’t make sense.

  14. I’m the one who recommended this here program to Bill Thompson, so apologies for that. For the record, I vehemently disagree with his assessment. (Although, after the drubbing THE WARRIORS received this week, I might be coming around to his perspective.)

  17. A couple weeks ago BB made a joke about admiring Aubrey Plaza for overcoming whatever accident made her unable to show emotion. I’m surprised no one brought up that she actually had a stroke in 2004
