  5. Good show. Unfortunately (for me), there seems to be little crossover between the Nexflix and Amazon Prime streaming catalogs. If you do this again, a little something for Amazon Prime users would be a nice bonus. (As is, I had to put one on my NetFlix DVD cue.)

  10. Anderson- When you give a movie a great recommendation and an overall really good review, I (and probably a lot of your listeners) go out and try to watch that movie. Having said that, I just can’t believe you recommended PUSSYRIOT: A Punk Prayer. The best part of the whole experience was that my dreams appeared to be in Russian, since I was sleeping through most of it. Maybe I missed something. Oh well. BB, A & L Keep up the _____ work!

    • Every time Bryan makes his argument for spoiling old movies (in this case, Chinatown) by condescendingly saying that it’s a classic and everyone should know about it by now, it makes me really want to punch something round and shiny and wearing glasses. It doesn’t matter how old the movie is, Bryan. What’s more relevant is how old the viewer is. Next time you see Sonny or Natalia, ask them why they haven’t seen Chinatown yet.

      • I’ve given up on expecting Bryan to understand that not everyone has the exact same experiences as him. This is the guy who just went on a rant about frats being persecuted a couple weeks ago.

  15. Bryan, of course we listen, as Anderson pointed out, to discern what movies to see. But, you and Anderson and Logan would be a great podcast discussing other topics and issues and I assume you’ve given this thought.

  16. Latest episode of Anderson’s Top 5 Netflix Instant picks posted to the IMDb playlist below. There was no clearly stated #4 since ‘In the Company of Men’ (1997) was not streaming at the time but there are plenty of also-rans (not posted to the list below).

Three new titles added. One was already mentioned on ‘Badass Bitches’ episode back on July 8th, 2010:
