Also I think one of the reason it was done that “for kids” way was Jurassic Park had a lot of kids watching it and they need to be able to wrap their minds around the whole DNA from a mosquito thing too.

The worst was when they did ‘Top 5 Movies NOT to Watch While High’ which originally was a topic by Anderson called ‘Top 5 Movies to Watch While High’. And on this show Bryan literally phoned this one in. Another tendency for Bryan is to pick negative Top 5s which are the least interesting shows.
Here are just a few recommendations I sent in that haven’t been used yet. All related to full movies. Not scenes or things not to watch:
— Top 5 Double Features
— Top 5 Minimally Scored Films
— Top 5 Best Films by a Writer/Director
— Top 5 Mockumentaries
— Top 5 Films That Take Place Between The World Wars
— Top 5 Foreign/American Remakes (Which Is Best?)

This was the ‘Movies That Need To Be Retired From TFV’ episode from 7-Jun-2013. Here are the movies that Bryan chose for Anderson to keep off future lists. Now that I have all the details from the shows since 23-Apr-2010 I can show whether Bryan made the right choices based on the # of times Anderson used the title on previous Top 5s:

Posted by Ben Cacace (@NYCbirder) | August 17, 2013, 7:52 AM@Ben Yeah, I guess that (as it turns out) Bryan Bishop is pretty much history’s greatest monster — simultaneously an incompetent rube who unwittingly undermines the show’s credibility and a malevolent, nefarious mastermind who wishes to destroy everything that is decent and pure about the Film Vault and replace it with a nightmarish, dystopian hellscape (and probably also — I’d imagine — undo and destabilize all of the Western civilization’s other most important achievements). You really are doing the Lord’s work in exposing this important and troubling reality to the rest of us.
