  1. I watched Hedwig and the Angry Itch. Loved it! Thanks so much for the recommendation, Bryan. 😉

  2. I’ve been thinking of a top 5 based on music and I there’s at least one in the back catalog:

2011-12-09 – Funniest Musical Moments (Guest: Riki Lindhome)

… and thought that one based on ‘Best Use Of Music In A Non-Musical’ would be interesting. For this topic my choice for #1 would be a P.T. Anderson title.

  3. CORNETTO is one of the main ice-cream brands here in Australia so I’m guessing it would be the same in England, so I guess it’s obscure in America.

Also MONSTERS (2010) is a great movie. Don’t expect it to be “monster film”, yes it has monsters in it but the human characters and how they develop are really good. MUST WATCH!

  7. Miss Movies is a dumb cunt, please stop having her on the show. She has no personality and adds nothing. I hope she reads this comment.

    • Respect Miss Movies, she’s been part of TFV for years. If you don’t like it you can fast forward the podcast. Do it for Van Gogh.

    • This is uncalled for. Too bad you’re hiding behind a mask and not brave enough to show yourself. I can guarantee you wouldn’t say this to someone face to face (no matter what you say you’d do in person on an Internet forum), and guaranteed you’re not a woman and clearly you’re not a talented actor (I’m thinking ‘Eternal Sunshine’ here). Begone you cunt! (Yes, I’ve called a guy this to his face on 5th Ave. after he blamed me for walking into him when he was texting and walking perpendicular to traffic).

    • I red-light this.

  8. A week ago, you guys were talking about how perfect Matt Damon was in Elysium and talking about other actors.. but I was surprised nobody mentioned that Eminen (yes, freaking Eminen!!) Turned down the part because they wouldn’t shoot the movie in Detroit..can you believe that?

  10. Miss Movies was totally engaged! This was an excellent episode. Hopefully this a trend that sticks.

  11. I like that the many Ben’s are now gathered into one listener.

  12. Bryan says the show is ‘a short show’ but it clocks in at 1h 21m. No Top 5! Red Light/Green Light? What is up!?

A shorter show would’ve meant no Red Light/Green Light which would’ve been more than acceptable.

    • I really just want them to bring back Michael Keaton. In the best Batman comics that Frank Miller made in the ’80s Bruce Wayne was old anyway. Just let Batman get old with Keaton for god’s sake. He was the best.

  14. Johnny Carson! Another Nebraskan, albeit dead, eating away at Anderson.
