What’s next, flickfessing a movie that was on in the other room, or flickfessing a trailer? If you wanted to talk about a movie you should at least actually watch it.

Valhalla is way more watchable than Only God Forgives. I’ve seen Valhalla 3 times now. It’s a good movie to have on in the background.
Anderson was kind of dismissive of Darby Crash, he could write lyrics, unlike GG. Shane West actually went on to tour with the Germs, never saw them though.
I’m looking forward to the Drive Snifftrax. I was concerned, at first, that it would bastardize it, but the factoid angle will be good.
I just figured out the fan art, it’s the woman who “stole” Anderson’s seat.
This episode was totally gay.

Also, there’s nothing quite as comedically satisfying as when someone’s attempt at sophisticated pretension goes horribly wrong, as happened when Anderson referred to the original French film that inspired The Birdcage as being called something like “La Cage Fullah” (rather than, you know, La Cage aux Folles). If Anderson is going to attempt to do these sorts of things, he probably ought to confine himself to occasions in which he hasn’t spent the whole day drinking.

Posted by David | September 8, 2013, 5:37 PMToday Logan and Anderson mentioned that they don’t like the change to the Instant Queue on Netflix which is now called ‘My List’. They mentioned that the list gets sorted with what Netflix thinks they want to watch.
I didn’t want this behavior because I need to track a movie’s ‘Available until’ date for the lists I maintain on IMDb.
Here’s the steps to get back to how it behaved when it was called Instant Queue:
— Drop down on your profile name in the upper right corner of the screen
— Select ‘Your Account’
— Click on ‘Order in My List’
— Click on ‘Manual Ordering’
— Save

This should be right up there with Vaughn from Sling Blade.
Also, Bryan did the douchiest thing ever on the Carolla podcast… he made a Midnight Cowboy reference! A movie that he JUST SAW! The same day that he flickfessed the movie on this podcast, he seamlessly weaved it into conversation on another.

What made it so shocking to was it came from far left field. You’d never have guessed it going into the movie without already knowing. I unfortunatley knew that twist when I finally saw it the first time.

As the guy that often complains about your inappropriate use of the word “gay”, ya’ll did really well in this episode. I was super nervous, so kudos for that.
Make sure you see “But I’m a Cheerleader” before the lesbian episode. Soooo good.

Things aren’t so stuffy because you act like two regular guys talking movies for fun. So many show are hokie with dumb gimmicks. (Doug Loves Movies) Or they make everything too serious and try to find too much meaning political and otherwise instead of just enjoying them (Greatest Movie Ever) Which I love but gets super stuffy and more intellectual than it has any right to be. So just wanted to say you are the best movie podcast and likeable guys sincerely. Great show Anderson, Bryan, and Logan. Keep up the great work fellas.

Anderson is always trying hard to shut-it-down, but I love to hear their personal stories and such. And no, I’m not tuning into the After Disaster, give us some background and a persoanl flair along with our movie conversation – it makes for a good blend.
