  1. Anderson: So Somali hijackings aren’t one-sided crimes, and approaching them as such would be “Fox News?” Sometimes the covering your ass politics get hilarious. xD

  2. It’s not how you play the game, it’s whether you win or lose, and even that doesn’t make all that much difference.

  3. Anderson is so dead-on about ‘Bad News Bears’! A few years ago we borrowed this movie for our family movie night with our 3 kids – 4,6,8 yrs old. WOW! We didn’t make it out of the first 5 minutes due to the racist comments, swearing and booze drinking. Then we had to explain to the kids why we turned off the movie. My wife then later explains how she watched it as a young kid and, of course, I add the comment “so that’s why you’re a hot mess.”

    Good times.

  4. Matthew McConaughey as Coach Jack Lengyel from “We Are Marshall” was a pretty good performance. Just imagine trying to literally rebuild a football team from the ground up after a plane crash kills practically the entire team (including coaches & trainers). My wife is from WV and apparently the movie was really quite accurate.

  6. Holy smokes! Bryan is the biggest movie ruiner I have ever heard. Can’t he just turn people on to a movie with out giving away major plot points or the whole ending? He’s worse than my 12 year old who likes to say “oh, you HAVE to watch this part closely” while we’re in the middle of a movie. Dear lord in heaven. Please. Please. Let the viewers be as surprised as you for a change.

  7. Bryan and Anderson, good show. RE: They Live and Rowdy Roddy Piper. According to Wikipedia, Carpenter met Piper at Wrestlemania III (a seminal event) and was enthralled with him. Says it was an easy choice and that Rowdy had “life written all over him.”

  8. Next week, top five naked fight scenes!

Coincidence, Jay Tarses also wrote the Great Muppet Caper. No woner he was on Bryan’s list!

  9. Buzzyshyface is a great featured artist (cough) foronce (cough)

Also, I actually agreed with most of the selections for once. “The Color of Money” was an outstanding call. Anderson loves punk, so I’m surprised that he didn’t mention Iggy Pop’s cameo. The weirdest thing about that movie is the audio at the beginning. One can barely make out the dialogue through the loud Phil Collins music.
Good related story: I waited 5 hours for Tom Cruise to come out of a certain location several months ago. I wanted him to sign a pool stick. He signed everything around him down the line, then he leaned up like he was going to sign my stick…. then stopped the whole damn thing even though there were 20+ more people to the right of me awaiting his signature.
    5 hours………
