  3. Just saw Mean Girls for the first time tonight. Amanda Seyfried belongs on a list of top 5 female debuts only if the criteria is jackability. Not that she’s bad per se, but she’s only memorable as someone who is more famous now who happened to be in a movie you saw a long time ago but didn’t realize it then because they were unremarkable at the time.

  4. Bald Bishop’s other podcast is now featuring movie reviews and a segment where everyone guesses RT scores. Do they have to issue a casting call for hipster doofuses before soon-to-be little orphan Andy sees the writing on the wall. This is the End? Is Bryan the Jonah Hill to Cowan’s Baruchel? Sometimes the harsh cold reality of showbiz can feel like a cold cockle right to the face.

  5. Eraserhead = garbage. Bryan, the most apt review of Eraserheard I have ever heard. Very astute. And Anderson is just like those idiots at the screening that are preening on about how it’s art, and a remarkable “film”. You know, the people he hates. Although I don’t think Anderson is actually an idioit, perhaps just a hypocrit. He needs an ascot.

Note to people that submit the fan art: here’s a request, a picture of Peter Bogdanovich with an ascot with Andersons head cropped in.

  6. Brian, You must see The Last Picture Show if you love Jeff Bridges. Unfortunate about the sleazy director though.
