  1. I watched Margin Call today, it was good but nothing spectacular.

Brian is a smug idiot. Top 5 animals in movies was a perfect example of this. He also loves to spoil movies and then claim its not spoiling. What a tool. As soon as Logan or Miss Movies replaces him on the show it will go from good to great.

Keep up the good work Anderson!

  4. Sapphires was all kinds of terrible. Me and my girlfriend found it damn near un-watchable. All of the similar movies brought up are far better. Don’t waste your time with that feel good piece of shit.

  5. I hate to be this person, but at least two if not more of the movies on here are no longer on Netflix. January 1st is a major movie contract end date etc. “Slums of Beverly Hills” for example is no longer on there. Oh well…thanks for the recommendations.

    • Anderson brought that up right at the end of the show, He said something to the effect of ‘What if a bunch of our recommendations aren’t available anymore’.

      • That’s what BitTorrent is for. I’m always surprised when they talk about sending away for and waiting on discs. I guess they’re trying to do a legitimate show, so doing that is out of the question.

  6. It’s a new year and I’ve decided to let go of the negativity. No more making fun of Massah Cowan for proclaiming McQueen’s movie “the most accurate film about slavery” – maybe he’ll share photos of the family plantation one day – or shaking my head when he and his hairless helper blather on about American Hustle, when it’s merely a dusting of entertainment built on wardrobe gags and actors who think 3 mood swings in a single scene equals an oscar.

I hope you will all join me (even that dipshit, Chet) in celebrating what is so wonderful about this free and always fun podcast and release the burden of our ever-growing ill will.

    Happy New Year!

    • “the most accurate film about slavery”
      Hahahaha. He said that?
If slaves and slave owners had the cadence and vocabulary of Shakespearean stage actors then it was startlingly accurate, I guess.

    • What?? American Hustle was fantastic. Maybe you should see it again. You know, with the whole New Year’s resolution thing you’re doing.

  7. You should do a show “top 5 spoilers” then all the retards that complain about getting movies can stay away. Then again, they’ll probably listen to it anyway only so that they can then complain about it in that self-righteous way we’re all familiar with.

  8. I don’t understand why Anderson is so enamored with Grabbers. It was an ok movie, but completely forgettable.

  9. Not to be a smart-arse but Pontypool is in Ontario, not Quebec. If it were in Que., chances are that the radio station would have been broadcasting in French. It’s funny how every now and again there will be a small Canadian film that quietly gets released but is really damn good. A couple of others to check out would be “Cube” and a sort of ‘mockumentary’ (a-la “Spinal Tap”) about a fictional Canadian punk band called “Hard Core Logo”.
