  3. the eff richard sherman, eff the seahawks comment wasn’t really needed by baldy..and then to say eff seattle listeners… Mr bald must like coming off as a smug arrogant douchebag (during the live read); it’s not just the character he plays I guess? It’s bad enough he’s only seen like 30% of the movies of the past 30 years, attacking a city just adds my zest of dislike for him. (and I used to laugh at what I thought was his faux smugness..but alas no more). Smh mr bald..smh. (((and if it was meant sarcastically it certainly didn’t play that way)))

    • Oh please, Jahwoo, everyone knows about Bryan’s smugness already…
This is a guy who won a lot of money on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and has a steady stream trickling in from his constant suckling of Carolla’s teat. And when bums on the street ask him for money, he laughs in their faces and suggests they watch “Babies.”
So please, don’t feel that bad that he mad fun of rainy Seattle. He would happily deride us all, given the opportunity.

  4. Blue Ruin is currently streaming, bitches. I’ve only watched ten minutes of it so far. I like what I’ve seen.

  5. If a movie is poorly written, you could be Paul F. Tompkins and your movie would be bad. But I’ve taken a couple months of acting classes and the A number one job of the actor is to act well. But some people suck at acting, and some people suck at writing, and Cube had both. Bryan’s point about the directing was spot on. He saved that flick.

    • Cube’s acting was infinitely worse than its writing. I thought that the actors were god awful almost immediately, and they never disproved that belief during the remainder of the movie.

      • Would cube have been as good with great acting? I don’t think so. Or maybe I should say with recognizable names? I’m pleasantly surprised at how well received Cube apparently is. It’s one of those little film treasures that exists I think or thought; also seems it’s a movie that I’ve never had a conversation with someone who thought it was terrible so clearly something was done right?.! ((the sequels…maybe not so much…one of them was just completely bizarre))
