  2. Great Show! This is my favorite movie podcast right now! Anderson is blowing my mind with his movie picks. The Dirties was great. Blue Ruin was fantastic! Everything you recommend sounds great. I am amped about seeing Locke. Keep up the good work and keep the great “bent” movies coming.

  3. Watched Frank today. At the end of the movie, I had to think about whether I liked it or not. I believe I liked it, but am still going through the storyline and characters. Won’t drop any spoilers (aka Bryan) but I am conflicted with the ending. (last 15 minutes or so). Maybe the ending has be asking myself if I truly liked the movie or not.

    • I watched it two days ago. I liked it when the credits rolled in the theater, but like you, I was uncertain about it. Since I watched it the more I think about it the more I like it– I borderline love it.
I realized yesterday that this show mislabeled Captain America 2 and X Men: Days of Future past as “summer movies,” (SPRING) so with those omissions it would definitely crack my top five summer movies list along with “No No: A Dockumentary.”

  4. just finished bryan’s book and really enjoyed it. I think bryan literally has his tumor at bay with ‘smugness’. there is a standoff going on in that bald cranium.

  7. Hey Bryan – your confusing Anderson’s psychosis for passion. Passion’s a good thing and so is having convictions – which you seem to be missing, hence why you’re drawn to Anderson’s picks. But I still love listening to you.

P.S. It was the opinion of one that Mohammed Ali turned his back on his country, when he didn’t go to Vietnam, unlike Joe Louis who served his country during World War II.

  8. Bryan’s “did he/she mention me?” thing just encapsulates everything about him.
When Anderson talked about a moment when someone on his set mentioned him *in a joking manner,* then everyone laughed I laughed my ass off along with him.
