Due to technical difficulties beyond their control, Anderson and Bryan make an executive decision to cut the episode short, but not before a full round of Flickfessions and gambling on this week’s theatrical release.

  1. I love the 2-dudes-talking-over-beers vibe of this show and would be disappointed if Bryan never gave Anderson something to get mad about…or if it finished on time…or if Logan actually did his job…

  2. Bryan had a plan. After the Rosenechtomy, he needed to send a message, a shot across the bow of the pirate ship, a reminder that he was not as fungible as a Jewish newsgirl. He had timing, he had opinions, he had drops. And a plan. A plan straight from the playbook of the captain himself. He would simply stay home. Putz around. Take in a matinee Transformers™ movie. Let the captain (and, of course, the oarsmen) see what one night at sea was like without his iridescent head guiding them to a modestly more pleasant existence. So Bryan putzed, and it was good.

But as he did, he had a thought:

Good for the goose, t’is so for gander,
Who ever won with just virtue and candor?
I will be clever, no one could find fault,
When I endeavor to half do a Film Vault.

  3. Bryan – Without seeing the first How To Train Your Dragon you miss the entire emotional setup and character development necessary to care about the second. Never complain about your reviews, but you were totally off base here. Go back and watch the first. Make it right.

  4. Someone tell Anderson, that despite his sexual explorations in County, you cannot pee into someone’s butt – no matter what Cronenberg says.

  5. Imagine what this show would be like if they had a producer. I mean, every episode the hosts of the show literally look things up on imdb, or stall for time rambling while trying to remember an actor’s name or what movie they were in. If they had someone producing the show, this episode airs and the show is a good margin better than it is currently. Anderson and Bryan are supes talented and it’s a fun show so I’ll still listen and keep clicking through, but I will still miss what could have been with some actual production value. I mean, the smallest production value. The littlest bit of someone actually giving a fuck and knowing how to produce a show. Shame.

    • I don’t think we are in a position to judge…especially this episode.

      • Listen to Top 5 Creepy Moments. Anderson talks about The Out Of Towners, Bryan asks who played the wife, and literally has to look up the answer on his own, even after asking Logan. Later Bryan has to look up what Craig Zobel had previously done. And it’s not like Logan isn’t paying attention because he chimes in that homestar runner is coming back, but has to wait until the hosts of the show he ‘produces” come up with the research. Maybe he doesn’t understand google, imdb, etc, or maybe he just doesn’t know how to produce a show. shame.

  6. Really Bryan? You milk that Big Hero 6 joke for weeks and then pat yourself on the back for doing it with Citizenfour? And cutting in with a synonym while someone’s talking is not banter. Sorry for being a little mean but you.ve been really off with your movie takes lately. Seems like you hate on movies just so you can wax about your own unique observation/complaint.
