  1. Cube! Good call. What a fun movie. Although my friends hated it when I made them watch it.

  2. Just wanted to thank Anderson for “Primer”. Confusing as fuck. Awesome as fuck. It fueled a nice I-should-have-gone-to-bed-three-hours-ago tumble down the YouTube rabbit hole. Yeeeeaaaahhhppp.

  3. I liked the clip that with Terry Gilliam, and I totally agree with him. He should listen to his Kubrick side more often. Have you seen Tideland? What the fuck was that mess? Anyway, loved this episode, and I look forward to your next one.

  6. This was a great podcast. With 3 people and only one movie repeated? And BB was at the best he’s ever been. Hands down my favorite podcast.

  7. Marshall was a great guest. It was very interesting to hear about him making his movie and his opinions about films were honest and earnest. I look forward to checking out Division III. Thanks for another great ep, guys!

  8. I clicked on that trailer for Division III that you put on your FB page. I kept waiting for it to reveal the movie as an extended SNL skit, with awkward timing and limp jokes. But it never did. That’s a low bar, I know, but one that most “comedies” can’t clear these days without Todd Phillips’s heavy hand.

  9. I usually fastforward ads on podcasts, but Anderson’s awkwardness make them worth listening to.

  10. Just wanted to leave a comment about the Gilliam clip. I really think he and the person he is quoting really missed the mark with the “happy ending” of Schindler’s list, The story is about Schindler’s transformation from war profiteer to humanitarian. At the end of the movie even though everyone is saying “you are so great” he personally can’t except that because he knows there is nothing he could have done to make up for the horrors of the Holocaust. Any single scrap of wealth he had could have been traded in for a human life and now that the war is over, he has to live with that for the rest of his life. To me that is not an “everything is great” conclusion.

  12. Danny Roane? Seriously? This guy is shamelessly promoting his partner’s films; it doesn’t even rank in the top 1000.

But couldn’t agree more about the Swingers comment. Can’t wait for the next one – sniffling and all!

  13. I know it has become a running joke, but the sniffing really is annoying. Even marshall thought you were mocking him with the sniff at one point.

  14. this episode cracked. thank god for CUBE that movie FUCKING RULES. talking about Paranormal Activity and Blair Witch, you guys should peep GRAVE ENCOUNTERS. Ive been bugging Logan about it for a couple months, but its a tight found footage movie that is hella scary. dont sleep, its crucial and might be on demand still.

also, Bryan HOW DARE YOU? anderson doing the “marilyn monroe laugh” was fucking clowning, and you coldly interrupted him. egregious, egregious
