  2. I think a lot of people are missing the point that listening to your guys’ show is like sitting in with friends discussing movies. If you guys were always polite, courteous and never did anything that wasn’t carefully planned out, it would end up sounding like an NPR show and put everyone to sleep. I even get a laugh out of when you can hear you guys rustling papers and pounding on the desk. Keep up the excellent work lads.

ps. If/when you decide to Flick-fess “Dredd”, keep in mind that for 30+ years that the comic has been done, he’s NEVER been drawn without his helmet on. So if you were wondering why Karl Urban is never seen with his helmet off, it’s because they wanted to keep the character as true to the source material as possible.

    • Exactly! If you don’t like the interplay between Anderson and Bryan, why listen to this show? It’s the best part-especially when it *doesn’t* go smoothly!
Dredd!!!!! I havent’ rewatched a movie this many times since Master and Commander (there it is again! Watch it Bryan!)

  3. I thought Better with Biehn was pretty funny, only because of Anderson’s uncontrollable laughter.

  4. Bryan Defender here.

He’s absolved for everything else in 2013 because he proposed the immortal idea of Anderson’s Egregious Error of the Week.

  5. Ghee is just clarified butter. It doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge. Not that exotic.

  6. I’ll be in the minority of those who enjoyed the Better With Biehn, only because of the creepy homo eroticism that was dripping from Brian’s mouth.

    • Yeah, I enjoyed the Better with Biehn segment as well. For some reason, the fact that all of Bryan’s cited examples of “Better with Biehn” films were INTENTIONALLY awful and ridiculous seems to have been lost on some portion of the audience. I thought it was a pretty effective little piece of humor.

  9. i’ve always loved the interplay between bryan and anderson. i can’t explain it, but there’s something oddly charming about these two. when i’m at my wife’s house in japan in the summer, no internet, sometimes a little bored, i listen to old film vaults (and the carolla show) and it’s like being at home somehow.
and “better with biehn” was funny as hell! “biehn of the southern wild?” y’all weren’t laughing out out at that???

  10. I think Bald Bryan needs to listen to the shows so that he can hear how often and how much he interupts Anderson
He adds nothing when he interupts. I like Bryan but enough already.

  11. These episodes are getting tough to get through. this is the first one that I didn’t listen to all the way through. Honestly it’s all on Brian. Someone needs to tell him that whatever ‘character’ he’s playing isn’t working. Stop the interrupting and please stop the better with Beihn. If you only have enough content for an hour show, I think we’d all be fine with that.

  17. “Better with Biehn” blew ass. If you have to pay Miss Movies to get her in the studio, DO IT!

I’d rather listen to “Red Light/Green Light” with Miss Movies’ screaming kids in the background than “Better with Biehn” ever again.

  19. My biggest take-away from this episode is that I clearly need to buy myself a King Ralph movie poster.
