This week, he has successfully prevented me from sharing the podcast from a 10th friend who was searching for new podcast. I try to be a good listener though not a good community member but I preach and pass on this podcast to coworkers and friends. This last Podcast was number 10 that told me they just couldn’t listen past the opening section.
Why? The constant need of Bald One to let anyone but himself speak. Poor Anderson trying to get past The Out of Towner, while Bryan constantly talked over him. While I continue to listen, I’m done trying to share. I make myself look like a dumbass when I try to share the podcast and Bryan just… can’t… stop… talking…
For someone who takes SOOOOOO long to make his point and Anderson jumping in when it runs too long, why is it Bryan is jumping over Anderson’s audio within 5 seconds of him speaking? What would be interesting for the already overworked Logan is to count the amount of time Anderson talks and is interrupted or talked over vs. how often Anderson interrupts or presses Bryan to move on. I love the pod, guys, will continue to click through, but seriously, I’m just tired of being told from friends they couldn’t finish the episode because of how much talking over Bryan does.

Posted by sheppy | October 21, 2014, 11:03 AMWhile I agree that Bryan interrupts at times, I completely disagree that it has always been Bryan who constantly talk over Anderson. I’ve been a loyal listener since day one. I would like to believe that I have never missed an episode, not one.
Just like what Bryan said, he was simply doing a “Yes, and” and his so-called interrupting of Anderson have been 98% “Yes, and” just trying to add something, as if a give & take conversation… something that Anderson seriously cannot do as good as Bryan. Anderson, most of the time, seems uninterested in what Bryan has to say. He constantly points out to “move along.” That is just as annoying as he interruptions. Take note, I honestly think that Anderson has more interesting and entertaining things to say than Bryan but Anderson truly comes off as a dick many times; only caring about his own opinions and impatiently wants to say his next thoughts while seemingly ‘taps the pencil on the table’ while looking at the clock.
Having said all that, these contrast of personalities is what probably makes this podcast one of the best out there.
Baldy and Andy, I love you both. Keep doing what you’re doing but take heed of our comments. Your most loyal listeners only want you to keep improving your already great show.

But its philosophy is dogshit. Genius is mostly self-taught. Benjamin Franklin had an eighth grade education. Almost everyone probably knows the stories about Einstein and how little faith his professors had in him. They literally just wound up ignoring him, then he went on his own course after he graduated and was rejected from teaching at a university.
In the world of entertainment (music, film, comedy, etc.), I rarely hear anyone claim that one particular teacher raised him to the height of his success- when they do, no one actually believes that it wouldn’t have happened anyway.
So that teacher was on an ego trip. He whined that he never produced a genius. The correct phrasing is that a genius never happened to set foot in his shithole on the path to his inevitable success until the protagonist became his little pawn. Teachers should try to churn out professionals who can scratch out a living at a particular field (middling level to good skill), not try to create geniuses. As he demonstrated, he was trying to create geniuses at the expense of people who might have forged a career in music. Yet this movie might encourage more morons to employ his psychopathic methods. Outstanding.
The pass that the director gave to him was juvenile and almost offensive to me.

5: The opening scene in “Ghost Ship,” a great scene in an otherwise shitty movie
4: Rodney Dangerfield’s character talking about raping his daughter (Juliette Lewis) as a laugh track plays in “Natural Born Killers”… something about *Rodney Dangerfield* playing that role and saying those things to fake laughter is unbelievably offsetting to me
3: “The Thing,” when The Thing transforms into everyone it killed as it dies
2: Full Metal Jacket: the facial expressions that D’Onofrio makes when he goes insane
1: Hannibal: the infamous dinner scene…. when I watched it during 2002 on DVD I needed to pause it every three seconds or so, do something else for 30+ minutes to cleanse my mind of what I was seeing, then return to watching it. It remains the only movie that has forced me to do this. I can’t even imagine watching it in a theater.

The Accountant played by Christopher Eccelston drilling holes in the ceiling drilling holes on the ceiling stills creeps me out.
