  4. I really do love Anderson but now that he’s realized the movie he pulled Peter Fonda’s quote from wasn’t Easy Rider it’s that much funnier to go back and listen to his incredulity over Bryan and Logan not seeing it. His pretentious douchebag level is off the charts. Plus he hates the Germs but likes TSOL? Tsk tsk…

Bryan and Logan, rub his nose in it by watching Easy Rider and flickfessing it next week to confirm that in fact the quote is not in the movie! Bryan, as a lover of “music” movies Easy Rider is a must! I’m pretty sure it was the first film ever to have what we think of now as a “soundtrack” compiled from multiple artists. It’s a little slow but really conveys a sense of that time in America, I frickin love it and can’t see how Anderson got the two films confused, Peter Fonda’s character is so utterly different from one to the other although he does ride bikes in both.

  6. I like Anderson, but it is so great when he finds out he is completely wrong about something like the “Easy Rider” monologue from last week and his arrogance unravels.

    • The way it played out was annoying as fuck. Someone FINALLY mentioned Dave Grohl’s “Sound City” documentary. Then Anderson mentioned something vague that Bill Burr said disparagingly about the mics that they used. Then, as Anderson started to elaborate about it– “OOOOoooOOoOOOoOoooOOOOohHHHhhHH my GOD. I SHOULD BAN MYSELF FROM THIS SHOW.”
I still don’t know wtf he was talking about as far as Bill Burr’s problem with the microphones. Stay off the damn smart phone for a few minutes at a time– the twos of ya.

    • Still waiting for the correction/retraction on his getting the Zero Dark Thirty controversial exactly wrong. Nobody’s upset that the movie depicts torture, sport. The problem is the Bigelow chose to depict torture as a direct source of the Intel that led to Bin Laden. Which is, of course, wrong.

Precisely. That whole George Chimp era was so hideous. Then, later, when members of Obama’s cabinet are explaining WHY they don’t really trust the CIA (“I was in the room when you guys were assuring us about the Iraqi WMD”) the CIA agent whines that they can’t really confirm that the guy who is living in the compound is really Osama without their precious offshore torture/concentration/ “detainee” camps.
        Hideous.

      • And there are people (cough– Carolla) who ask, “so what if we’re torturing people who want to kill us?”
For the most part, I actually agree. The PROBLEM is that people who were just *loosely* connected with Osama were getting the ol’ water and whip treatment. It’s why we supposedly believe in fair trials.

  7. Was really surprised you didn’t know who ‘Pussy Riot’ was Bryan. When they got arrested that was international news for weeks. I guess getting all your news from Allison hasn’t been too helpful.

    • I agree, I don’t listen to the Carolla show, but that dragged on for weeks – figured it had to be covered at some point?

      • While there’s obviously no way of knowing for sure, I’d bet that Alison intentionally omitted the Pussy Riot story from her news segment. Everyone already knows that Carolla is a sexist so there’s no need to have him spout misogynist trash for the umpteenth time.

  8. Kind of random Bryan but do you find it for how big of an actress Jennifer Aniston is, she’s never been cast in a blockbuster. Not in terms of grossing money but a big budget summer movie, has she ever been in one?

  9. Logan and Bryan really don’t like each other. It shows more and more every episode. I love it.
