Dead Cat Hat

Dead Cat hat is an emerging Indie-Americana 5 piece band with accordion, banjo, guitar, bass and drum bringing vocal harmonies to twang-infused indie rock songs.

Originally conceived as a duo, Allan and Pato were joined by long-time friend Pete Stanton on drums and played shows as a trio with Pato trading guitar and bass duties.  Then the band evolved to include Bonnie Schiada on accordion, and Jay Maddox on bass in the summer of 2011.

In its first twelve months, Dead Cat Hat played over sixty shows with two tours from San Francisco to Seattle at numerous bars and original rock venues.  The band seeks to make the best of the current economic times with it’s recession rock ethos.
